The attack that took place in the Manchester Arena during has left many scenes of terror and panic, however, it is not enough from time to time to look for a ray of light among so much darkness. The good news today is in this curious event, and it is that an iPhone accompanied by its case could have saved a life according to the first investigations in this regard. The explosion unleashed a shower of shrapnel that caused numerous injuries, however, this iPhone was for a moment the guardian angel of its owner.
As we can see in the images, the iPhone ended up quite damaged, received an impact difficult to imagine even looking at the photographs. In them we can even observe blood stains, predictably caused by the multitude of injuries. It's easy to imagine that the injury could have been noticeably bigger if the iPhone hadn't been there.
It has been the with the BBC who has transmitted this peculiar story in which Lisa Bridgett, British attendee to Ariana Grande's concert at the Manchester Arena, tells how the iPhone saves his life as he was trying to make a phone call at the precise moment that the shrapnel hit him. Unfortunately, he has suffered irreversible injuries, such as losing half of a finger that was located on the part of the phone where shrapnel hits. Without a doubt, the device notably deflected shrapnel that ended up hitting his nose.
It seems impossible to really imagine what would have happened if Lisa hadn't picked up her phone to make that call, a true fluke that could have minimized the injuries and even prevented their imminently. We hope that Lisa recovers from her injuries and can lead a normal life in the shortest possible time.
