Since the construction of Apple Campus 2 began, YouTuber Mathew Roberts has published a complete drone-view video every month in which we can see how the works have evolved. During the first weeks of construction, the works have evolved faster than at present, since currently the tasks are focusing on the completion of both the exterior and interior of the buildings, in addition to the installation of the large number of solar panels with the that the company wants to feed the facilities of Campus 2.

As we can see in the video, most of the solar panels are in the upper part of the circular building where we can also still find areas without solar panels, areas that at the moment we do not know what they will be destined for. But given the magnitude of Campus 2, Apple intends to be able to obtain 75% of the necessary energy, while the rest will be obtained from external companies that have fields of solar panels.

But not only the main building is covered by solar panels, but the company has also wanted to take advantage of the parking area to add more solar light and thus be able to obtain more energy to maintain the facilities.

The 100.000-square-foot gym area available only for employees is now complete. The auditorium, where Apple will hold the next low-level presentations, is being covered at the top. This auditorium it will have a capacity for more than 1.000 people. Most of the exterior enclosure will be covered with curved glass panels that have been brought directly from Germany and have been manufactured expressly for Apple's Campus 2.

The works have preview completion before the end of the year or the beginning of next year And that's when Apple will begin moving its more than 13.000 employees to the new facilities.
