The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have made the leap to screens of 4,7 inches and 5,5 inches respectively, far from the four inches offered by the iPhone 5s and even more so from the already tiny 3,5 inches of the first generations of the terminal.
Many of you will remember Steve Jobs indicating that 3,5 inches was the perfect size since we could reach any part of the screen with one hand. When the jump was made at four inches, it was again said that despite the increase in diagonal, it was still possible to drive with one hand. With the iPhone 6 Apple wants to maintain its philosophy and, therefore, has implemented a one-hand operation mode in both models of its new mobile.
What is this new driving mode? Basically all it does is zoom in on the upper half of the screen to the lower area, so we can press any button without using two hands. To activate this operating mode, you just have to double tap on the Touch ID sensor and that's it.
The idea seems good on paper but in general the iPhone 6 is larger and therefore, I think it seems necessary to hold it with one hand and handle it with another to avoid possible falls, although that is already something that depends on each one, the size of our hands, etc.
the home button twice? and multitasking?
Double-pressing opens multitasking, double-tap and this mode is activated. Greetings!
buaaaaaaggg !! I mean bring you down the middle of the screen?
of course this year is to give a grammy and an oscar to the designers.
I will stay another year with my 5S so clearly I say it!
where are all those ifans who defended the 4 ″ screen ???? That double-tapping the home button seems like a real clown to me
Example of something well implemented.

100% agree! what a "crappy" fix that our little friends on the block have made this time….
Can this option be deactivated? Hahaha
That with the jailbreak is fixed and made like Android, then Apple copies it, improves it and will implement it in the next update of iOS 8, hehehe.
