Forty-five years later, no one expected that the company reach such a high level as it is now positioning itself as one of the most powerful companies at a technological level. The current CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, yesterday sent a memorandum to all his employees highlighting the values of the company recalling the challenges of the last year and ending with an emotional quote from its former CEO and founder of Apple, Steve Jobs.
Jobs: "It's been an incredible journey so far, but we've only just started"
The reality is that Apple has become a technological benchmark for many users. Its products not only innovate at the hardware and software level, but from Cupertino they are convinced that they do a job of empowering the user: their health, their data, their privacy ... The last year has made things change due to COVID- 19 and Tim Cook wanted to highlight the effort of all his employees In a memo to celebrate Apple's founding birthday:
I know this past year has tested each of us in ways we never imagined. It has asked all of us to adapt, added complexity to our work, and required additional resolve and commitment in areas of our lives that extend far beyond our work. But I also know that what each of us has accomplished during this time should take great pride in us. Through a challenge once in a generation, the things we do and the ways we do them have revealed deep and lasting new sources of value for the people who love and count on them. And, on many fronts, we know that even brighter days are ahead.
The appearance of Apple Computer in 1976 was the creation of transformer products that changed the reality of technology at that time. It was nothing more and nothing less than the Apple I. 45 years later not only computers but speakers, smart watches, tablets and smartphones are sold. To end the memo, Tim Cook referred to a quote from Steve Jobs, his friend, ex-CEO and founder of Apple, in which he highlights the importance of doing things at Apple that are worth telling, even if we are not in the future to tell about it:
