TinyUmbrella has been updated again And this time, we are closer than ever to the possibility of downgrading to previous versions of iOS, although we still have to wait.
This new update to TinyUmbrella allows save the SHSH from iOS 8.1.2 or earlier system versions, no need for Apple to sign said firmware. Until now, previous TinyUmbrella betas required Apple to sign that build to be able to back up SHSH but it is no longer necessary.
What is the next step to be able to downgrade from iOS 8? Now a tool needs to be developed to create a custom firmware from SHSH that we have saved.
If you have iOS 8.1.2 or some version that can be jailbroken, I highly recommend that you use TinyUmbrella to save the SHSH from your iPhone or iPad. With the current version of the tool, support is offered for devices with Apple A7 and Apple A8 chipset, that is, the ones you have below:
- iPhone 5S
- iPad Air
- iPad Mini 2
- iPad Mini 3
- iPhone 6
- iPhone 6 more
- iPad Air 2
We closer than ever to downgrading to iOS, an open door for those who always want to be jailbroken and put their hands in their heads when, for some reason, they are forced to update and lose it.
If you want to try the new TinyUmbrella and save the SHSH of your device to be able to do downgrades in the future, you can download the tool from your official website.
And surely there will be no support for iPad2 for example I do not believe it
If this is possible and the keys can be cloned to make a CF in part we are at the doors of the real bypass of any device with iCloud 😎 .. As long as we can hack the device or in the case of ip 5 / 5s take it to iOS in which I found my iphone did not exist ..
What you are saying is complete nonsense, nothing to clone keys or anything else, even if you return the firmware icloud it will still be present as it happened when downloading from ios 7 to ios 6 if it had been activated to search for my iphone even if I downgraded to ios 6 it kept asking you the mail so you can keep dreaming xD
It gives me problems with Java ¨You need at least a 1.8 Java Virtual Machine to install TinyUmbrella¨ I have a higher one and it won't let me open it
Oh, someone else gets this error: the install4j wizard could not find a java (TM) Runtime Environment on your system Please Locate a suitable 64 bit JRE Minimum Version 1.8.
I select the .exe that is in x86 program files and it tells me another error:
No JVM could be found on your system pleas edfine EXE4J_JAVA_HOME TO POINT TO AN ISTALLED 64-BITjdk or jre or download a JRE from wwww.java
The weird thing is that I have installed the latest version 64 and 86 of java and even if I select one of the two it keeps telling me to go to java and install java. I mean that wave?
I hope someone help me
