TomTom 1.12

TomTom's fame makes it one of the most downloaded GPS apps from the App Store and given its high price, the team responsible for its development must release updates frequently to fix bugs, add new functionalities and update the maps with the latest changes.

TomTom version 1.14 for iOS devices brings us an update on advanced planning. Now it is possible to change routes already planned without having to start from scratch. For example, you can change the starting point, destination or departure time and see how these changes affect the route and arrival time.

As well cartography has been updated since as they well indicate, the roads tend to change 15% on average each year, therefore, it is important to have maps that are as updated as possible.

I keep sticking with the Sygic ... sometimes they screw it up with updates but otherwise it's great.

I bought the Iberia version in December for € 35, I suppose it would be a one-off offer. Regarding the news I am glad that they continue to offer updates constantly. Without a doubt the best application in this category by far, and I have tried many to be able to give an objective opinion.

I agree, the maps are upgradeable for life. I have had it since the first iPhone 3g (4 years) and it is updated free every 6 months, and for life for iPhone and Android, according to the TomTom website.
The Sygic and others are cheaper and not bad, but the one that works best is the TomTom. Google or Apple maps are online apart from that if you lose coverage, goodbye browser.
