One of the great advantages of the integration of GPS in mobiles was navigation, which added to the data rates has allowed us to obtain information in real time on the roads and their eventualities, the most interesting of course being the notices of both fixed and mobile radars.
Warning
Obviously the star feature of the application is the radar warning function. Traffic No! It has the Robser Premium database, which ensures that we are up-to-date in terms of speed controls. Of course, although for normal users it may be enough, I recommend complementing the routes with some other application or community warning service (such as Waze or Social Drive) if we want to have as much information as possible.
Radar warnings occur only in the correct direction of travel, something that other radar warning applications do not have available and which is appreciated. Other interesting options such as silenceable voice prompts in case of going at the correct speed, horizontal mode, real speedometer with GPS data or notifications to warn us with the screen off.
Details to improve
The most important thing of all is to make it clear that the application perfectly fulfills its mission. That is, it warns us of the radars on our way, it gives us the price of gasoline, report incidents of traffic obtaining data from multiple sources and even allows us to observe the traffic cameras that are on the route. But there are some very improvable things.
The main detail to improve is design. Although it is true that it complies by using almost entirely elements integrated by Apple in Xcode, it is obvious at first sight that the application is not very worked in this aspect. The icons are not used in accordance (in the upper row of the traffic map some are filled and the others are empty, for example), the warning screen is too simplistic and in general it gives the impression that a facelift would come in handy. beads to complement the smooth running.
Seeing their competitors we can not lie down either hands to head, because other alternatives in the sector are the same or worse in terms of the user interface. But be careful, the functionality of the app is more than correct and the design is still something solvable in a future update, so if you have to choose between a beautiful app that does not work well and a less beautiful one that works correctly, the second choice is clear. And put to choose a radar warning, with the best experience I have had has been with this one.
