Trick: select the bitrate of your songs with iTunes 10.6

bit rate itunes 10.6

Since March 7, iTunes 10.6 has been available for Windows and Mac and we bring you a trick about this version that you may not know but that is very useful for saving space on our iOS devices: select the bitrate of our songs.

To modify this parameter we have to connect our iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to the computer, run iTunes, select our device and activate the option:

Convert songs with a bit rate higher than:

When activated, we can select a 128 kbps, 192 kbps or 256 kbps bitrate. The higher the bitrate, the higher the audio quality but the more memory space it will occupy within our iOS device, while by selecting 128 kbps we sacrifice some sound quality to give priority to occupying the least amount of space possible.
