Activate restrictions on your iPad

IPad is a device for the whole family. Contrary to what can happen with the iPhone, in a home it is normal for everyone to use it, and that has its dangers. It is not the first time that you find all the messy applications, even deleted, or that you find the little one playing something inappropriate for his age, imagine if you have GTA: Vice City and the young man of the house takes it. For these cases, if we do not have a jailbreak, there are the Restrictions that come in the iOS settings, it is not that they are a complete solution, but they can save you the odd headache.

We must go to Settings> General> Restrictions, and activate them. It will ask us for a 4-digit password, which we must repeat. Do not forget it because you will need it to deactivate them whenever you want, so it better be a key that you use often.

Once you have activated them you can select what you allow and what not. Remember that what is "in blue" is allowed, and what is "in white" is not. The options are many, from installing or removing applications, accessing iTunes, camera or FaceTime, to using Siri or allowing explicit language.

You can also restrict movies, selecting up to what age they are allowed to reproduce. Those that are suitable for adults of that age will disappear from the iPad library, although they are not deleted, when you remove the restriction they will appear again. Very useful for those of us who have Walking Dead chapters on our iPad.

You can go browsing through all the options that it allows you to restrict, and leave it to your liking. When you no longer want the restrictions to take effect, go back to Settings> General> Restrictions and deactivate them, re-entering the key you put at the beginning. Remember that if you restrict applications, they will disappear from your springboard, but they are not uninstalled, they will reappear when you allow them again, so do not panic if you see that you do not have the AppStore.

For example, I have restricted Safari and FaceTime and they have disappeared from my iPad dock. As I said at the beginning, not the perfect solution, and also has a flaw, and that is the application that you restrict and it disappears, when you allow it again, it appears outside of where you had it, it does not respect the old location of it. And another thing that would improve, is that it does not remember the restrictions from one time to another, you have to select them one by one manually each time you activate them.

Hello, I just saw this information that dates back a long time and since I do not see the date I cannot check if the money that they agreed to reimburse me has already been credited to my account.
I wanted to ask them to confirm it or give me the refund date to verify it
    I appreciate the consideration!
