Tweetbot 4 is updated with support for iOS 10 and more news

Tweetbot-Themes

We return with the updates of the most popular Twitter client in the App Store, and it is no wonder, since its developer, Tapbots, does not issue many updates for its applications. This Twitter client has been going strong since 2011, and it is the one that most of us editors have preferred. Actualidad iPhone to carry out our usual interaction on social networks. The update has brought Tweetbot up to version 4.5 and we have good news, it is completely free. It seems that Tabtos begins to leave behind the mania of renewing the application and therefore charging again, when a new and powerful version of iOS arrives.

These are the most significant changes that we can find in the update notes of the App Store:

  • Support for iOS 10
  • Notes in user profiles: You can add these notes to user profiles, so you can better identify them, especially if you don't remember who they are. This feature requires iCloud and can be activated from the profile menu.
  • Support for iOS 10 notifications
  • Support for the best scroll in iOS 10
  • Filters to mute tweets based on their accented characters, as reported by Tapbtos: "Mute filters now match accented characters, you can type Pokemon and it'll mute Pokemon too" / Silence filters can now read accented characters, you can type Pokemon and it will silence Pokémon as well.
  • Added a verified profile filter
  • Added shortcuts through commands for physical keyboards
  • Bug fixes when navigating between photos
  • Bug fixes when double-tapping to zoom
  • Removed support for Readability

The application currently costs € 9,99, However, we recommend that you wait for one of their sales, I got it myself for € 3,99 if I remember correctly. What is more than clear is that we are facing the best Twitter client available in the iOS App Store from my point of view.

The big problem that Tweetbot has is that it does not support group DMs and it is because Twitter did not launch the API for third-party applications. If twitter continues to incorporate exclusive news, I see little life for Tweetbot

Miguel, get me out of doubt:
What does this app have that the official Twitter app doesn't have?

I use it and the truth is that for what the social network is in itself, with the native app, I think it gives me and I have plenty.

Why do so many people prefer this other one? Thanks greetings.

To begin with, no advertising, nor the "while you were gone" and "you may be interested" that makes me desperate. And performance much better than the official app at least for me. The two deficiencies that I detect, that of the group DMs that you indicated and that it does not have the support for surveys, nor can they be seen or allowed to be done
