Twelve South BookBook, a premium case for your iPhone

After trying many cases for all the iPhone models that I have had (since the iPhone 4 there are already a few) I can say that there are cheap cases that have lasted very little, good cases that have fulfilled their mission, and then there are those cases. that you really fall in love with the ones that you never get tired of and that, when you remove your iPhone to put another one, you keep them in a drawer well visible because you know that you will use them again soon. The Twelve South BookBook sleeve belongs to the latter group and does so in a prominent place as well. A real leather case with a different look, that does not go unnoticed by anyone, that protects your iPhone and that also serves as a wallet and support. Can you ask for more?

The case that we analyze in the review is specifically the black model for iPhone 6 Plus. You also have it available for the iPhone 6 and also in brown. Both models are practically identical, although the iPhone 6 Plus model has one more card slot inside (five in total) than the iPhone 6, due to the obvious differences in size. They are made with top quality leather, and their interior is very well finished, even taking care of the detail of the card slots, whose edge is stitched to prevent time from damaging the case there. The slots are more than wide to fit credit cards, identification cards or any business card. It also has another compartment to put bills.

The design of the cover is very original. You will not find anything like it on the market, and of course anyone who sees the case will notice it. In your hand or on the table the iPhone will look like an old book. Materials and drawings are carefully aged And no one would guess that inside that leather cover is an iPhone.

BookBook-04

The cover is bulky, it is obvious. And even more bulky if you put cards and bills in the interior compartments. What can be inconvenient at first becomes completely unimportant when you realize that Carrying this case with your iPhone saves you from having to carry your wallet. You do not have to wait to be able to use Apple Pay to be able to leave your wallet at home, since with the BookBook case you will carry everything you need with you. And do not worry because there is no problem in carrying your credit cards with your iPhone, that myth that the magnetic stripes of the cards are erased is completely false. The iPhone does not have any magnet that can do that, forget it, I can also confirm it from my own experience.

Anyway, without at some point you want to do without the leather cover, you can do it with a simple movement. Slide your iPhone sideways and it will come off along with a plastic shell that protects it, leaving the leather cap aside. You do not need to take the entire case home or leave the iPhone with your credit cards and money with your children. In a second and without any effort you will be able to separate the two pieces of the case and keep your iPhone, yes, still protected.

BookBook-07

If instead of sliding the iPhone a little to the left you slide it a little more, what you will get is that the case becomes a stand so you can put your iPhone on the table and enjoy a movie comfortably. A very versatile cover, with a very special and careful design, and with top quality materials, qualities that are reflected in its price: € 54,90. The price is the same for the two sizes and colors available. By the way, if you like this design of covers, you have others from the same collection for iPhone 4 and 5, iPad and MacBook that you can see on the official website of Twelve South.

These sponsored articles are a bit disgusting / sorry. I am seriously considering unfollowing you. From the affection. Greetings.

It is not a sponsored link, it is my cover and I wear it daily because I like it, and I express it in the review. If you do not share my opinion, it is respectable, but nobody has paid me or the blog a euro to say what I say.

There are the same type for 5 dollars and better quality in China.

If the 6+ is already dead, with a case of that caliber the practicality is already on the ground. The truth is that these types of cases regardless of the iPhone model I see a tacky, apart from how bulky they are not the best protect, utility -4

The problem with the case is that it has no protection on the base. A common mistake in many cases. Including apple ones. I had a really hard time finding a cover / book with full protection. Without this additional protection, the mobile is easily scratched at the base. I say it from experience!
