From now on, the social network will limit the functionalities to these accounts for a time as they violate the rules. In addition, they ensure that they are working hard to improve the algorithms since, they say, sometimes they make mistakes and they accuse to normal accounts with abusive content that they don't have.
New notifications filtered by content
Twitter is also adding screening tools for app notifications. In a few weeks, users will be able to block notifications from certain accounts with some peculiarities:
- Those who do not have a profile photo
- Those that do not have an associated email or phone number
This tool is coordinated with the one already added a couple of updates ago, that allowed to silence certain words that appeared in tweets.
