Two Apple Stores reopen in Japan this week

Store in Japan

Good sign. Two Apple Stores in Japan will reopen in a couple of days. For many weeks Apple has closed all its physical stores around the world because of the happy Covid-19. Too many stores, and too much time.

Little by little they begin to reopen, depending on the degree of confinement that exists in each specific country. And I am very happy. And not because of Apple, since the company is healthy enough to withstand such a challenge without a problem, but because that means that the damn pandemic is already remitting in some countries, and they return to a «new normal«. Bravo.

According to an article published in the review BloombergApple plans to reopen some of its Japanese Apple Stores this week, but not all. Two locations, in Fukuoka and Nagoya Saka, They will open their doors on Wednesday, May 27.

There is no indication when the rest of the Japanese Apple stores will also reopen, but it will likely happen soon after the news that Japan's state of emergency has been lifted ahead of schedule.

In a move similar to other places where Apple stores have already reopened, the company will introduce certain security measures to access the premises, including temperature controls, as well as a supply of masks for visitors.

Apple has already reopened stores in Australia, Austria, Germany, South Korea and Switzerland. Several stores have also reopened in Italy and United States, although some remain closed.

Taking into account that this week Madrid and Barcelona have already entered phase 1 of the de-escalation, it is very likely that in a few days the Apple Store in our country they also join the list of reopened stores. As I said at the beginning, it is great news that Apple is reopening its stores. A sign that little by little we are returning to a "new normal."
