The hearsay around watchOS 10 are very clear and forceful: a big change of design and concept to readapt the operating system to the new needs of users. There is speculation about the arrival of widgets on the application screen, definitively ending the honeycomb which shows all apps currently. New leaks arrive just 48 hours after the final presentation of watchOS 10 that ensure that All native apps will be redesigned to take full advantage of the Apple Watch Ultra screen.
The Apple Watch Ultra will take advantage of the redesign of watchOS 10
The Apple Watch Ultra is the biggest smart watch created by Apple. With a resolution of 410×502 pixels and a viewing area of 1,185 mm², it makes up one of the largest screens inside the Apple Watch. This does that more information fits and we are able to enjoy more complete visual experiences. Apparently Apple has realized this and watchOS 10 will go towards that point, to ensure that larger screens show more content not only on the home screen but with each of the native applications.
Mark Gurman, analyst at Bloomberg, it has been clear in the last post before WWDC23: Apple aims to improve core watchOS apps for Apple Watch Ultra with new designs to take advantage of the large screens, not only of the Ultra version but of the larger models of the rest of the watches.
And all this objective is also related to the complaints from Apple Watch Ultra users who have seen how, even with a large screen, the applications have not been modified since their launch. With the release of watchOS 10 this will change. and developers will also be able to adapt to design guidelines to change their apps and enjoy more content.
