This is not going to be a comparison of efficiency, or the capacity of these systems, but rather it is going to be a comparison focused solely on your design, in the aesthetics of the system. I, respecting and knowing the work that it has cost them to do this article, I wanted to bring it to you and apart from taking advantage of some of its captures, to state my point of view regarding the design of both operating systems.
Since Android was born, I have always heard it said, in fact I said it, that aesthetically iOS was superior to Android, it was prettier. Android has evolved a lot, and with the new version, the Android 5 Lollipop, you could say that Android has taken a step towards design maturity, so it is time to analyze and see if iOS is still superior aesthetically speaking.

We start with the lock screen, as you can see in both we have a simple and elegant styleAs for icons and typography, I personally like both icons a lot, but in typography I prefer Apple.
Here we have the home screen, on the one hand we have a considerable change in terms of the aesthetics of the icons by Android 5 Lollipop, with its new material design theme, I I'm more like Android, having the applications that I want in the different windows, and then having a menu with all the apps, aesthetically I like it better than having all the apps on the screen and depending on folders.
