What Apple could offer with the new Apple TV

Apple-TV-Concept-04

It seems that this time yes, or at least that is what many of us want: there will be a new Apple TV in June, with an application store and with new offers of streaming channels, including an Apple channel that would compete directly with cable operators. Is the change that Apple TV can make really so important that it has been around for so long? Undoubtedly yes, although everything will depend on what Apple wants to do with it. As an example we only show you some ideas that could be reflected in the new model and that could be a real bombshell in the market for video consoles and SmartTVs.

App Store

Having an App Store like Apple's and not using it for Apple TV is a real shame. Applications for social networks, internet browsers or applications for streaming video such as Yomvi, Movistar TV, MiTele or Atresmedia that exist for iPhone and iPad would be extremely useful on Apple TV. It would be without a doubt a device to turn any television into a real SmartTV. Those who have one of these are sure to understand me: the applications available for the different brands are, in the vast majority of cases, unfortunate, with a horrible interface and with menu navigation systems that make them practically useless. Apple could take advantage of its applications designed for iPhone and iPad and achieve a user experience far superior to that offered by most smart TVs.

Remote control

A key element for the success of Apple TV would be the use of the remote control for more than changing channels or going back through the menu. The iPhone could be used to interact with the Apple TV, but the control of the renewed Apple TV could be the perfect conjunction between a control pad for applications, a keyboard and a gamepad for games (which we will talk about later). It could also be a pointer to use with our television, to be able to directly press buttons pointed with the remote.

Games on your TV

The best thing about Apple TV would undoubtedly be its game console function. With the video game catalog that Apple has in its store, it seems incredible that it has not yet decided to make the leap to television. The iPhone 6 Plus has a 1920 × 1080 resolution, which fits perfectly in any Full HD television. Any game adapted to the iPhone 6 Plus could be played in high definition on a television, and controlled by the remote control with physical buttons, as it has to be.

Integrated

We haven't talked about the design, but the models created by Martin Hajek could fit into any living room at home. The style remote control iPod nano with touch screen and physical buttons on the other hand it is beautiful and a perfect solution to make it an "all-in-one" for multimedia and video game control. The colors would be those that Apple already has as official: white-silver, black-space gray and white-gold. I leave you with a gallery with more images.

Hope this one doesn't serve as a paperweight like the last one.
Last week I was in awe when a customer bought 5 Apple TVs from an Apple store. What a disappointment when I would put it into operation or when I would try to do the JB
