User account
Be able to use different user accounts on the iPad it is a desire almost as old as the iPad itself that Apple should one day access. the Apple tablet needs to have its own functions that differentiate it from an iPhone, and one of the first should be this. A tablet is, in most cases, a device for the family, unlike the iPhone which is usually a very personal device. File Browser
Apple is slowly giving iCloud Drive a look more similar to other cloud storage services such as Dropbox, Box or Google Drive, although it still has a long way to go. One of the most important points that is still on the "pending" list is to have access to its own file explorer, without the need to install third-party applications. I use Documents, an excellent free application for iPhone and iPad, but a native application would give much more security and possibilities by integrating perfectly with the system.
Siri for third-party apps
Apple wants to make Siri relevant again, but for the role of Apple's virtual assistant to be truly important, it needs to give application developers access to use it. Be able to start playing music on Spotify, open a podcast application such as Overcast or send a message via WhatsApp would be just some examples of what Siri could do if Apple agreed to it. You have already done it with iCloud Drive or with Touch ID, functions reserved at first for native Apple applications.
Quick response in third-party applications
Being able to reply to a message from a notification without having to open the application is already possible in iMessage since iOS 8. was released on OS X this quick answer can also be done in apps that have been updated like Telegram. iOS should also allow messaging or email applications (Telegram, WhatsApp, Outlook, Mailbox ...) to use the quick response as Apple's messaging service already does.
Choose the default applications
The iOS 8 extensions have been a huge step towards integrating third-party applications into the system. You can finally send files from one application to another or share them through non-Apple applications. But one more step should be taken: Apple should allow we could choose which applications we use by default for certain functions, as it already happens in OS X. Safari, Mail, iBooks, Messages, etc. come pre-installed, but they should not force us to use them. Being able to set Outlook as the default email client (for example) would be something really delightful for many of us who shun the (old-fashioned) native iOS client.
3 years ago any of these ideas would have been unthinkable at Apple, but the company has changed a lot and its mobile operating system, iOS, is no longer that hermetic system to which nothing had access and in which everything was immovable. Today I believe that no one believes any of these suggestions impossible. Which are yours?
I would like to choose the default applications (example chrome or google maps as it can be done with the jailbreak), I would like Apple to implement something similar to what to do virtual home, it really seems useful and the battery consumption is minimum (at least if you do not leave it active when it is idle), that the control center was improved (especially the shortcuts) and that stability and performance were improved (I know that ios 8.3 from what I have heard has improved enough, it would be good if they followed the same line).
Now, except for performance and stability (maybe) I don't think I'll see any of these things in iOS 9.
