What do we expect from the next iOS 8?

WWDC14

Two months are left for the next WWDC14, one of the most important events in the Apple world, event in which we will see interesting news (hopefully) like the next iOS 8, Apple's upcoming mobile device operating system. An iOS 8 that should surprise us as iOS 7 did, although I do not think it brings a great novelty such as the design of iOS7.

An iOS 8 from which something or other is already leaking, something that in my opinion is not positive at all since then we find Keynote's predictable and boring like the last ones that have been held. However, nowadays it is quite difficult to avoid these leaks since it is quite easy to make information flow through the networks. Next we are going to see some of the possible novelties of iOS 8, and what we expect from this new operating system.

As we say, iOS 8 will be the homogenization of the design proposed by Jony Ive for iOS 7We have already seen how all applications (practically) are adapted to this new design and the next iOS 8 will follow in its wake. What we will see will be new applications, services, and many performance and stability improvements.

Healthbook

healthbook1

We speak according to rumors but this rumor is getting stronger and stronger and will surely come true on June 2. It is the most important novelty of Apple and will mean its foray into the world of health. Healthbook will use several features of the software of our devices in addition to the hardware (remember the M7 chip that incorporates the iPhone 5s) to give us many details about our lifestyle and improve it (surely someone is already thinking about malicious uses of this data).

an app with Passbook appearance that could be accompanied by the, also rumored, iWatch.

healthbook

We will have a rrecord of our activity (in which we can see our rhythm of life), a record of nutrition (in which we add the food we eat during the day), an application that will use the Passbook design so that we are the ones who order its characteristics.

We could also see our blood pressure (something that Samsung has also incorporated), our nutrition, blood sugar, our hours of sleep, our breathing, weight, and physical activity.

healthbook2

Healthbook will also incorporate an emergency file, file in which we will incorporate our most important information to be used in an emergency (date of birth, family contact telephone numbers, blood group, weight, medical prescriptions, allergies ...), a curious feature of Healthbook that will make our device the most important thing in emergency situations.

iTunes Radio

itunes radio

iTunes Radio was one of the novelties brought to us by iOs 7, a novelty that aimed to break the music market and become one of the leaders in streaming music. Little by little it has been making its way, but it has yet to spread throughout the world, something that we will probably see in iOS 8.

Also so far iTunes Radio is part of the Music app, and Apple surprise us by creating a unique iTunes Radio application (something that Apple already did for example with the Podcast app) in which we could see some other news.

Maps

maps

From a novelty introduced in iOS 7 we move on to a novelty introduced in iOS 6, the Maps application. An application that little by little has been substantially improved (We just have to remember those absurd maps with which Apple launched its own mapping service).

Se improve labels, routes, and information on traffic and transport. For this, Apple has done with several transport information companies so we will surely see some other improvement within the application.

Messages

posts

Messaging apps are all the rage, Many companies are trying to dethrone WhatsApp and Apple does not want to lose this opportunity of the moment when WhatsApp is going through its worst moment (doubts about your security, the purchase of Facebook ...).

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), will improve all the errors of this application, and may add the ability to completely erase the messages of the sender and receiver ...

Text Editor and Preview

new apps

Two of the surprise apps that have been leaked in supposed screenshots of the iOS 8 Springboard. Apple could incorporate one of the most used applications on Mac: TextEdit and Preview.

With these applications we could (supposedly) view and edit files that we keep in our iCloud account (which will be synchronized with all our Apple devices).

They are currently applications in development but they have many ballots to see the light in the next iOS 8. With these it would be necessary to value the download of iBooks (to read PDF's) or Pages (to edit documents), would come standard in iOS 8 and much more would be used.

C

Parts and accessories

Another novelty that was presented in iOS 7: CarPlay, the perfect connectivity between our devices and our cars. A functionality that will allow us to travel with our iOS device without taking our eyes off the road.

It will allow us to have the GPS of our iDevice, our music, and many other applications that will be adapted to this new CarPlay. A CarPlay that does not depend only on Apple since car manufacturers will have to incorporate this functionality into cars.

In June more ...

Many many novelties with which Apple will try to surprise us and make us think that we have the best operating system for mobile devices on the market, We will continue to be attentive since the wait will be eternal ...

It would be delusional to think that they hear an opinion from an ordinary user, but what is there to improve the center of the quick controls to for example activate or deactivate the location and tethering with a single click?
