WhatsApp is updated again with "Bug Fixes"

whatsapp bug

Again with premeditation and treachery we find the new update of the most popular mobile messaging service on the market. Once again the update notes say a terse "Bug Fixes" that raises more doubts than anything else. I really begin to think that they do it because of the mystery it generates, to see our faces when reacting to a WhatsApp update that in principle should promise a lot, perhaps the news that we have been demanding for years is there. But as always, this "Bug Fixes" hides something behind it, it is a hobby of WhatsApp developers.

Among the improvements to which we suppose they have been dedicated these days, we find that It seems solved all problems both with the Safari links and the bug that did not allow sending videos to many users of iOS 9.3.1 and that it would end up blocking the device if we insisted on trying again and again. For now it seems that that and nothing else, these guys from WhatsApp are not too familiar with the arts of new functionalities, in fact, the little they do they do it wrong, because this is another update dedicated to solving the errors in the code from the previous one.

Meanwhile, the competition continues with its strong stride, despite receiving the backs of users, messaging clients such as Telegram implement the sending of all kinds of files, stickers and even shortcuts for sending and searching for GIFs that are so popular. are being done today. We started to lose hope and patience with Whatsapp, an application that retains the same scratchy design since iOS 7 and also takes advantage of a template provided by Apple itself to developers. In short, we remain alert to possible news that we have missed in order to transmit them.

I don't know if it is new, but can you choose for each group or contact if you download the images or not?

I confirm that in the iPhone 5s this apparently insignificant update of the messaging app notably improves the fluidity when scrolling through the chats since from iOS 9 and later versions 9.x it hit horrible jerks.

Now the lag when scrolling in WhatsApp is minimal if we compare it with previous versions and it recovers the fluidity of iOS 9.3 that strangely lost in the hasty version 9.3.1

On the other hand, I recommend updating to iOS 9.3.1 on any device that is in any 9.x version.

    regards

This bug fixes hides that, bug fixes. It really seems good to me to criticize WhatsApp for being behind the competition in functionalities. But criticizing for fixing rapidly emerging bugs seems like an insult to intelligence. Before they did not add so many things and they did not fix the errors and we criticized. Well now let's be consistent and all other apps do the same, Facebook, twitter, google etc update and say improvements and stay so wide.

WhatsApp is gradually improving something that did not happen before and when there are errors they fix them, they will be a bit of a mess like eating GB but at least let's be fair.

By the way, if someone does not search for contacts in spotlight, do a storage analysis, in my case it has solved it.

a few examples of other apps that do the same.

Do not update to ios 9.3.1, if your current ios works leave it like that. It is not worth complicating and for something to break and / or stop working. Neither case to those who suggest updating.

It is true, do not update iPhone 5s to 9.3.1 it was a fiasco, I felt my mobile slower and the battery was drinking a little faster, I had to Downgrade to 9.3 and yes WhatsApp recovered fluidity with this update.

Wow. I see that I am not the only one who considers that the development of WhatsApp has not evolved beyond what would be the development of a simple developer despite having bought it Facebook.

I understand that an application takes time to design and develop, but when a large company like Facebook acquires said application, one expects more from it, thinking that the development team is more than two friends who share a passion for development.

Personally, I am one of those who has whatsapp, unfortunately "it is what everyone uses" and their contacts do not want to switch to a different messaging client. Today he considered that this application has been dead for years ...
