WhatsApp is updated for iOS and there is no trace of deleting sent messages

WhatsApp is the favorite instant messaging application for most users. Not precisely thanks to its impeccable development, the battery saving that its use implies, or even the fact that it has many functions that make it stand out from the competition. However, we are all still subject to the yoke of WhatsApp, and therefore we must be attentive to any news raised by the development team that follows the Facebook guidelines.

On this occasion we were talking about the possibility of deleting messages sent up to five minutes after doing so, however, WhatsApp surprised us this morning with a new update and there is no trace of that function, but there are other new ones.

The reality is that the news is quite scarce and is really focused on improving the user interface in a few words:

  • Now we can pin any chat we want to the top, so our favorite groups and chats will not disappear among endless messages. To do this, we only have to slide from left to right on the desired conversation and the new set button will appear.
  • As well we will be able to send any type of file, we are simply going to take advantage of the same function that until now we have used to "send documents", either through iCloud Drive or with any of the available cloud storage systems. To send the type of file we want, we have to select the "Document" option. It's time to share music on WhatsApp… right?
  • Now when we receive many photos a complete album is created, if we keep pressed on the album in question we will be able to delete all the photographs of these albums, and not having to do it one by one.

As we have said, they are improvements at the user interface level, and we know little or nothing about the promised system that would allow us to eliminate sent messages.
