WhatsApp is updated with link previews and much more

WhatsApp is getting us badly used to issuing updates lately, although most of them seem completely useless, the arrival of constant updates to the App Store at least indicates that the development team is at work. The last one arrived today at dawn, version 2.12.11 of WhatsApp is available to be downloaded, with a size of approximately 49Mb, go to the App Store and update the application to enjoy the news. This new update brings interesting news in the application settings menu and a preview of the links we send and receive, at last.

That's right, the most interesting and main news is that WhatsApp now allows us to add a preview of the content that we are linking in a message. This preview can be chosen whether to include it or discard it, since an example of what is going to be displayed while we write the message will appear. This option was already included by other instant messaging services such as Telegram. Undoubtedly, WhatsApp is becoming what it should never have stopped being based on updates, but these are not the only news, we will tell you the rest.

A new design has been added to the WhatsApp Settings page, which now simplifies the system a lot, since before it could become a bit tedious to access certain functions, acquiring small logos of flat shapes and basic colors, a hallmark of Facebook, and what may be the harbinger of a future and interesting change in the aesthetics of the application for iOS. In addition, the Peek and Pop gestures have been included within the applications, to get the most out of the 3D Touch.
