Video of the iPhone 7 Lightning EarPods in operation

Lightning EarPods

This morning we published what is supposed to be the first video of the iPhone 7 fully operational. In the afternoon it was the turn of an accessory for the next iPhone, but not an accessory that is only sold in the Apple Store, but one that will come in the same box as the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus: the Lightning EarPods.

The video has been published by a mobile accessories company and in it we can see the auriculares that will come alongside the next working iPhone. The one who has recorded the video says that he thinks they are Apple's Lightning EarPods but, as always, we have to remain skeptical until the official presentation of the next apple smartphone, that despite the fact that it seems that what we see in the video will be what we find in the box of these devices.

Are these the Lightning EarPods?

In the video we can see headphones with the same design as the EarPods and the same controls, but they have a Lightning connector instead of 3.5mm jack. We can also see that these headphones work, but this should not make us put aside our skepticism. In a joking tone, I will say that the thin white cable that is attached to the Lighning connector makes me think that, indeed, these headphones have been created by Apple -and we will have to be careful with them-.

It is an open secret that the iPhone 7 will be one of the first devices to eliminate the 3.5mm headphone port, one of the most controversial developments that have reached the iPhone since the launch of the first model in 2007. If we want to use headphones with a 3.5mm jack we will have to use an adapter that rumors assure that it will arrive in the same box as the iPhone 7.

It seems to me that the original Apple headphones have always carried the volume and microphone control on the right earbud cable. Do you want to change now? I do not believe it.
