I remember going to a friend's house a long time ago and telling myself that we were going to play a turn-based war game. I figured it would be anything but four worms per team using shotguns, grenades, air strikes, and even a goat bomb. The games in the Worms Saga are one of those things that we like because of how absurd they are, but therein lies their charm. Y during this week we have free Worms 3 as application of the week.
For those who do not know, as I said before, Worms 3 is a turn-based strategy game, but don't expect 3D simulations or anything like that. What we will see in Worms 3 is a stage, not very big although it is for worms, and 8 worms, 4 per team. Each turn a worm from each team attacks and in the turn we can use a lot of weapons, such as a shotgun, a machine gun or even a karate upper-cut.
But not everything was going to be like so long ago. The graphics, of course, are much better than in the beginning, although it is also true that in the old PC version you could edit the voices to say what we wanted. Logically, each version has its charms and in Worms 3 we will also have on-line mode, as well as a quick game and campaign mode or a "pass and play" game (pass the mobile phone to a partner at each turn) which is the most similar to the version I played so long ago.
