Apple presented yesterday the XNUMXth generation Apple TV and he focused on talking about the features that could interest us the most, such as the new interface, the integration with Siri or the possibility of playing games from the App Store. But, as always, he did not mention some details such as the RAM, something that he does not reveal to us in any of his presentations.
Thanks to some documents related to the development software by tvOS third parties, we know those details that Apple often ignores in their presentations. Among the specifications is the RAM, which doubles the memory present in the iPhone 6 despite sharing the A8 processor.

Taking into account that we can play on the Apple TV, I think they should have opted to include the same processor and RAM that they have included in the iPad Pro: 4GB of RAM and the AX9 processor. With 2GB of RAM and the A8 processor, it is not that it will have problems in the short term, but it is clear that Apple will bet on more powerful games in the future and this Apple TV will fall short for games in a few years.
In any case, this Apple TV will be able to move all the games that are available now in the App Store and there are some with good graphics, so if it falls short, it will still take 3-5 years and in that time we will have already amortized the € 200 that the device will be worth.

I am clear that I will catch it since with each new information I like it even more and more knowing that it will have 2GB of ram and 32GB and 64GB, Siri remote with the option to play like the Wii, Kinect, Move ... And at a price "Fair" and even much cheaper than I imagined ... In fact, the Apple TV 4 for me was the best of Keynote, since the iPhone 6S has let me down due to the price increases and its 16GB input (although I love all the hardware, software and design enhancements they have given it).
