The IOS 14 widgets They are going to give a lot to talk about and for a long time, and there are many applications to which some seriousness is presumed that have not yet launched their Widgets and that seem quite reluctant to launch them. Meanwhile, many less popular apps are already working hard to rank well on your Springboard.
Spotify does not officially have its own Widget for iOS 14, but TuneTrack has arrived to allow us to enjoy a functionality that many of us are going to take advantage of. We are going to show you how you can have the Spotify Widget in iOS 14 easily and quickly.
It is clear that the Music application does have its own Widget, and it will probably give it a little more use with the arrival of Apple One, but in the meantime I am still trapped in the spiral of compatibility and ease of use that Spotify offers me, the service market-leading music streaming.
That said, it is very simple. The first thing we are going to have to do is download the TuneTrack application, which is totally free in its normal functionalities, despite the fact that it has some paid features that you will decide if they are worth it or not.
Once installed, we will navigate to the "Music Services" section where we will find the three main ones that are compatible with the application. Now we simply have to log in to Spotify and follow the steps to authorize the synchronization between Spofiy and TuneTrack, as we already do in other applications like Google Maps or Waze. Then we just have to include our Spotify Widget, for this:
- Press and hold the home screen until the icons dance
- Press the "+" button in the upper left corner
- Choose TuneTrack and specifically the Spotify Widget
