In an iPhone it is not so much the problem but when it is an iPad, there are many charging problems: It takes longer to charge, it stops charging at the slightest movement and sometimes it stops charging before reaching 100%. I do not recommend them at all.
Since my original iPad cable was eaten by my damn cat, in the end I opted to buy a certified Belkin brand cable (they sell them in the official Apple store but they are much cheaper on eBay) and they are totally worth it, It gives me the impression of higher quality than the original Apple and zero problems with it.

Just today I had to buy a cable for an iPhone 5s. I have gone through MediaMark and honestly it seemed like an absolute theft € 20 for a sad cable that was not even original from Apple. I have approached a Chinese next to my house and I have bought one for € 3,5 which is quite good looking and good finishes.
I'm sorry but € 20 is enough for a few Chinese cables even if they don't last half a year.
