Erin Metzger, Director of Product Management at Sony Interactive Entertainment, commented at the pre-launch press conference:
For those who love to listen to music as well as play games we are happy to announce that Apple Music will be released on PS5. This is the first game console to feature an integrated Apple Music experience by bringing its extensive catalog of music to PS5 players around the world.
Of course it is good to have the option available to access Apple Music from anywhere and on the consoles of course as well.
