Netflix officially confirms the arrival of spatial audio in its applications for iPhone and iPad in the next few hours. Spatial audio allows artists create immersive audio experiences with multi-dimensional, incredibly clear sound which will now also be available to users of this audiovisual content application.
The news jumped a few hours ago with the official confirmation to 9to5Mac website in which it was warned of its implementation in iOS 14. It has long been rumored of the possible arrival of spatial audio to Netflix and now it seems that they would already be implementing this quality of sound in their content.
Netflix incorporates spatial audio for AirPods Pro and AirPods Max
All users who have AirPods Pro or AirPods Max will start to enjoy this different sound experience. In addition, it must be said that the new version of the iOS 15 operating system takes spatial sound to the next level with the new Spatialize Stereo option, which simulates the Spatial Audio experience for content that is not compatible with Dolby Atmos. But this is not the main news today, today we are left with the arrival of this sound quality on Netflix.
For now, the implementation of this service will be carried out gradually, although they have already started with it. With this we mean that it is possible that right now you do not have that function activated in the application but that possibly in the next few hours or days it will be activated.
