This is one of those applications that we saw arriving more than a year ago, specifically in the Apple keynote held on October 27, 2016 and in which they showed us the new application called TV. It showed Apple's interest in unifying Apple TV content on iOS and also be able to use it on other devices such as the iPhone or the iPad.
The application appeared again this past WWDC 2017 and became available to users in the United States, shortly after it arrived in Australia and Canada, now the TV app is available in the UK, France and Germany. In this way, users in these countries can now view streaming content from the same application through Apple TV and best of all, it can be shared with iOS devices.
For now the idea is very good and what can be done with this application is bring Apple TV content to other platforms to offer entertainment and comfort similar to that of the encoders that we can use at home, which provide us with streaming content.
The good thing is that this is already in many more countries than those that were launched with the arrival of the application officially last June at WWDC, The bad thing is that right now there are no details about the rest of the expansion of the TV application to more countries and obviously in Spain it will be difficult for it to arrive soon due to the negotiations that have to be carried out with the companies that offer their own content here. At the moment there are already more countries that have TV.
