iOS 11 has been one of the versions with more news of the last times. Not in terms of design but in terms of native app functions. An example of this is Apple Maps, a tool that it has been evolving since its disastrous launch. Currently it can do the same function as Google Maps, and many users prefer it.
One of the novelties of iOS 11 concerning Maps was lane marking, a kind of guided GPS within the application that mixed augmented reality to better indicate when starting a journey with our device in command. New countries like Hungary, Ireland, Finland, Poland and the Czech Republic they already have that feature on their devices.
Maps lane guidance expands to more countries
This feature was introduced when iOS 11 was released and was only available in some countries, but it was only available in its early days in United States and China. It is only when it comes to indicating the route we must take to reach our destination, mark which lane we have to take in a much more visual way. Thanks to advances in augmented reality, it can be seen a little more clearly (in addition to being marked in blue) where we have to go.
