Apple's payment service is expanding little by little within the Spanish territory but still with shortcomings and few possibilities, although it is true that the number of establishments compatible with this technology increases every month. This is good, but if banks do not accept Apple Pay as a payment method, it will do little good for establishments to make an effort to integrate it into their ecosystem.
The next country to receive Apple Pay could be Sweden with Nordean, one bank headquartered in Stockholm. This is not an official information, but a report leaked by a Swedish website. The announcement could take place on October 24 and it would be carried out jointly between Apple and Nordea.

More and more countries in Europe are integrating Apple Pay as a payment method. In Spain, several banks are compatible with the system, but it is expected that within a few months more banks will join the bandwagon of this technology that is increasingly used by all users.
This time it's Sweden the possible candidate for integrate Apple Pay from the hand of one of the most used banks in the country called Nordea. This bank operates in 19 European countries, including a headquarters in Spain, more specifically in Malaga. In addition, as a curiosity, Nordea also operates on the Internet and according to the latest data is a leader in Internet banking with about 6 million clients.
The announcement is expected to be made next 24th of October, through a joint press release. Much has been speculated about the arrival of Apple Pay in this European country where mobile payments mean a lot to citizens. An example of this is that three-quarters of the population used apps to make payments during the past year.
