When Apple presented us with the new Apple Watch Series 3 in the last keynote on the 12th, many of us thought directly about the differences between this new Apple Watch and the previous model. We can say that visually we do not have great changes since they are practically the same except for the red color in the digital crown of the Apple Watch Series 3, but the interior does change and quite a lot.
Apple placed a lot of emphasis on improving the processor and LTE, but there are important details such as the 16 GB of storage that the LTE version has and that neither the version with new GPS has, much less the Apple Watch Series 2, but we are going to see what more differences there are in one interesting comparison of specifications between these two models.
The interior of the watches may seem similar to the naked eye in both versions, but this is not the case and quite a few internal components change in the new Apple Watch Series 3 model. The bad thing in this case is that it is not being marketed in all countries. to this day, let's hope this changes soon even though in Spain there is talk of 2018 for the arrival of the model with LTE.

In this table we see the prices of the American models (to which we must add taxes) and we do not have the LTE model officially available in Spain and we cannot compare directly with the Series 2. On the other hand, if we look at the price that the new Apple Watch Series 3 have in France, we can get an idea of what they will cost here: € 449 for the 38mm model and € 479 for the 42mm model, while the stainless steel models start at 749 euros for the normal model and 799 for the space gray model.
Another issue is that Apple no longer sells the Apple Watch Series 2 officially, but this is something that you do not have to worry about if you want to buy this model since there are several stores authorized by Apple and other large stores that do have this model today.
I would be interested in acquiring a Series 2, since I do not need the LTE connection. The interesting thing would be to find a (trusted) dealer that sells it at a discount since the price difference with the Series 3 would be, if not, practically nil.
Hi David, any Apple authorized reseller can be trusted.
Regards!
Do you know if the protectors that were made for watch 2 are valid for series 3? All the best.
Yes, Javier, I have bought some straps from the s1 and s2 and they work on the S3
