Patents are well-founded ideas that companies register in their name but does not mean that in the future they can see the light. The concepts, we could say that they are the same, since in most cases, they offer functions and / or designs that, in many cases, do not correspond to reality.
Yesterday we talked about the new rumors surrounding the possibility of Apple launching a iPad miniPro. A launch that according to the sources that I cite in that article, pointed to the second semester as the launch date. It was a matter of time before some concept related to this new model was made public.
This new concept of iPad mini Pro, available in Apple world, shows us an 8,9-inch iPad with the same design that we can currently find in the iPad Pro range, with flat edges, smaller screen edges, Face ID, and USB-C connectivity at the bottom.
Hopefully Apple releases an iPad mini Pro with this design and features, but, unfortunately, according to rumors related to the expected renewal of the design of the iPad mini (it uses practically the same design as the original model that hit the market in 2012), many of these functionalities will not be available.
From concept to reality
Rumors suggest that this new iPad mini will not have Face IDInstead, it will move Touch ID to the side, specifically to the home button. Regarding connectivity, this will still be lightning.
If we talk about the size of the screen, while some sources point to an 8,4-inch screen, others point up to 8,9. The only thing that seems to be clear is that the screen will be between 8 and 9 inches.
What is clear is that, as the launch date approaches, we will learn more specific information about their performance and its design.
