How to force update AirPods
In case you want force install this new firmware because it does not appear on the AirPods, you can perform the following steps:
- We leave the AirPods inside the charging box
- We connect the Lightning charging cable and that's it
With this procedure we will be able to force the firmware update in some way if it has not been installed. If what you want is to know the version that your Airpods have installed, we simply have to follow the following steps:
- Make sure you have the AirPods connected to the iPhone or iPad
- Open the Settings app
- Choose the option, General
- Enter the section, Information
- Click on the text, AirPods or on the name you have
The AirPods Max simply have to be near the iPhone and with enough battery to update, so the only thing we can do is put them to charge near our iPhone and the update will install automatically. In the event that we have news about these released versions, we will share it on the blog.
