IKEA continues to work to offer an interesting tandem between its products and virtual assistants from different companies, especially those for a smart and connected home system such as the TRADFRI, SYMFONISK range or these latest smart blinds that a few days ago surprised us with the news that they were finally getting HomeKit compatibility and were starting to perform firmware updates suitable for this purpose. However, not everything has been rosy for this IKEA product. Now the Swedish firm warns that due to technical problems, users in Europe will have to wait.
To give us this unpleasant news, IKEA has seen fit to use the official Twitter of the company in the United Kingdom, issuing the following statement:
Hello everyone, due to some technical problems with the last update that was released in the United States of America, we have had to delay the release of it in Europe until these errors are fixed. We do not currently have a planned release date, but our team is working on fixing it. - @IKEAUKSupport
Definitely our joy in a well, We are going to keep waiting and over an indefinite period if what we want is to use our smart blinds, which by the way are already on sale at IKEA Spain. Of course, for now you will be able to use it with Google Home, which is not bad either. It will be up to you whether or not you decide to buy these blinds in advance, at least we leave you a few lines above a video in which we show you how it works and if this smart blind or curtain from IKEA is really worth it, which does not have an exorbitant price and our home becomes increasingly smarter, if you have doubts I remind you that our Telegram channel (LINK) is there to solve them.
