La customization on iOS has increased exponentially in recent years. A couple of years ago the fact of imagining being able to customize the lock screen was impossible. Now, we are just a few weeks away from being able to have iOS 16 with us, the operating system that allows us to personalize our device the most. However, there are other aspects of iOS that are not yet natively customizable. Thanks to a third-party app we are going to teach you to modify the background color of the messages we send through iMessage.
Quickly change the background color of iMessages
The application is matter is Color Text Bubbles. His name already lets us glimpse what his mission is. And it is none other than changing the color of the text clouds that we send through iMessage. Until now, all the backgrounds of these messages were blue. However, with this app we can change it to give more color to our conversations.
Once the app is downloaded from the App Store, we can start the customization. To start, we will have to open the iMessages application because the application that we have downloaded is specific to this messaging service. When you go to send a message, in the application carousel that is displayed above the keyboard, you will have to look for the application that we just installed. Click on the app icon.
Once inside the app we can send a predefined message or click on "Type custom message" to send your own modified message. Once inside the editor, we can modify the text, color, shape, size and font before sending the message to your recipient.
The free version of the app has ads, so you have to be careful when pressing the “X” to get out of the ads, lest you unintentionally access websites. Although it is a rudimentary method to personalize messages it is still one more way to give personality to your messages.
