iOS contains some tricks inside that many users are unaware of. In the last weeks we have told you how quickly erase numbers from calculator, using the swipe on the touch screen and how enlarge the text than iOS presents by default. Today we reveal you a sound related trick. It is an accessibility tool that allows us to hear exactly the same thing through the two channels of the headphones, left and right.
This is a trick that I came across when I was on a flight and wanted to share my iPad to watch a movie with another friend. What happens in these cases? That if one puts the right earphone and the other, the left, we will not get good audio quality. If you want to solve this problem instantly and without needing extra cables, what you can do is convert the sound of the headphones into mono so that the same audio comes out of the two channels. These are the steps you have to follow:
- Go to Settings- Accessibility.
- Scroll to the bottom until you come across the "Hearing" section
- Then activate mono audio.
From that moment on you will be able to hear exactly the same sound through both channels of the headphones.
