IPhones made in India begin to be sold in Europe

India

In recent years, the guys from Cupertino have been making significant investments in India, in order to gain part of the important pie that this represents for the telephony sector. In this way, Apple has begun to manufacture any of its devices in this country, devices destined for that country.

However, and according to The Economic Times, Apple has begun to distribute in Europe the different iPhone models that are manufactured in India, this allows Apple to obtain greater benefits for each terminal, since  the cost of labor is much cheaper than in China.

At the moment, according to this newspaper, the iPhone exported does not exceed 100.000 units per month, a very small number if we take into account that Apple sells millions of iPhones every month. This news confirms, once again, that Apple is trying to diversify your supply chain beyond China while the trade war between the United States and China continues.

At the moment, Apple is only manufacturing the iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 in India, a device aimed at the local public, since due to its low price, they are the most affordable models that Apple can currently offer in the countryalong with the iPhone SE. However, Apple's plans are to start producing the current iPhone models, along with those that will be presented in a couple of months.

However Apple is not the only large company that has moved part of its production to India, a country that is providing many facilities for foreign companies to invest in factories and thus become the new China, at least for the next few years, a movement that sooner or later will end up affecting China.
