The Cupertino company announces several days in advance the closure for Christmas holidays of the service iTunesConnect. In this case, the date is similar to that of previous years and the skinners are already officially notified that it will be closed from December 23 to 27, both included.
This means that any new application, update or change for the applications of the App Store and the Mac App Store that are presented on these dates will remain in «standby» until the same December 28. Therefore, all developers are advised to submit their updates or changes to the applications before December 23rd or wait until December 28th.
Closing iTunes Connect does not directly affect users like you or me, as it simply serves as a tool for developers. The only thing that we will notice in any case between December 23 and 27 is that no new versions of the applications when we go to the App Store of our iPhone since they will be on vacation.
Developers are informed that iTunes Connect data will continue to be accessible during the announced days, but no review of new material will be made regarding applications. New app launches can be scheduled to be available during the stop, so if you are a developer and you want content to reach the world in that week you should have everything ready by December 23 and send it to the iTunes Connect team. Usually, as the closing dates of iTunes Connect they coincide year after year to grant vacations to Apple personnel assigned to the service.
