Inductiv is the umpteenth startup bought by Apple

Inductiv is a startup bought by Apple that specializes in Artificial Intelligence, so it seems directly clear that the Cupertino firm wants to improve Siri learning. We say this because some sources close to the company and who have leaked the news to the media, indicate that the Inductiv engineering team joined Apple a few weeks ago to work directly with the current head of Siri,  John giannandrea.

As in the many previous times in which Apple buys a company, they officially confirmed it but without offering any information about the reason for the purchase. At Apple they are clear that this company founded by a group of professors from the prestigious Stanford University, Waterloo and Wisconsin, can provide improvements to its Siri assistant in learning and use, which is why the purchase was always made effective without knowing details on transaction amounts or anything similar.

It does not seem that this purchase will have immediate effects on the assistant of the company so no one thinks that for the next keynote of the brand that will arrive in just over 4 weeks improvements will be announced due to this recent acquisition. Siri functions may be improved and used to automate data identification and correction tasks that are used to learn from us, but this will not be implemented from today to tomorrow. In any case, it is one more purchase for Apple that could be used to improve its software and in this case the one related to Siri.
