The figures that IDC offers on Apple Watch shipments during the last quarter of Apple are record-breaking. Again, the Cupertino firm seems to consolidate its leadership with the Apple Watch and as the web reports Mac Rumors, Apple is constantly breaking records with this wearable.
When we look at the figures coldly, it is when we realize that the increase in sales or rather shipments compared to the same period last year is 75%, a truly spectacular figure. In this same period of the year 2019, Apple managed to send about 6,8 million Apple Watch worldwide and this year the figure rises to 11,8 million. This figure of 11,8 million units is another record within the shipments of the Cupertino firm's watch that had never before obtained this data in another quarter since it was put on sale in 2015.
Better prices more offer and good operation
The truth is that there are several factors that come together to obtain such good figures quarter after quarter. In this case we start with the prices of the new Apple Watch that have not risen for a long time and that also add up models such as the Apple Watch SE or the Apple Watch Series 3 they are priced really good.
According to these IDC data, the Apple Watch market share is 21.6% so it is in second position after Xiaomi in the market. The prices and quality of Xiaomi products are still much lower than those of the Apple Watch, but the distance is narrowing over the months.
