New multi-million dollar fine for Apple in France

The Cupertino company continues to receive fines from the French country for its illegal practices in the distribution network and by the antitrust agency. Today it is known that the company will have to pay a multimillion dollar fine imposed by the government and is that the figure is 1.100.000.000 euros. For its part, Apple is expected to carry out its appeal course to the sanction so it is not definitive although it is true that the company is receiving a good handful of sanctions from the French country.

Agree on prices, abuse of economic dependence on distributors, illegal agreements with your distribution network and more. It appears that Tech Kata and Ingram Micro, two of the country's distributors, had agreed not to compete with each other and both have been fined with figures of 63 and 76 million euros respectively. It seems that all this may affect or strain the already complicated relations between the company and the country a little more, but this does not seem to matter to France, which continues to bet on sanctions.

On other occasions we have talked about Apple and France, so it is not something new but in this case the fine is really astronomical, the highest imposed on Apple in the country. According to Apple sources asked about the CNBC the Cupertino company is confident of its possibility to appeal this sanction millionaire imposed, although it is true that a good outcome seems complicated both for some and for others, but only time will tell.
