One of the best applications to manage mail on iOS (and not only on iOS) is Outlook, Microsoft's proposal that has been largely based on a company they acquired a little over a year ago. Outlook It allows us to check our mail and, in addition, to consult our agenda, more or less what we have always been able to do in the PC version. Its latest update has added several interesting novelties that will improve even more if possible what was already a great application.
The agenda of the latest version of Outlook for iOS allows us to see three days of our calendar. This comes in handy to be able to schedule our appointments taking into account what is coming in the next two days without using additional gestures. To access the three-day view, we just have to touch the icon to the left of the plus symbol, which will allow us to see the agenda, one day or the three days mentioned.
Integration with Skype
If you are users of Skype or WhatsappPerhaps the most interesting novelty is that now we can create an event in the Outlook calendar with the "Skype call" option activated. When the time comes, we just have to tap on a button that will appear to join the conference. If we do not have Skype installed, Outlook will invite us to install the application. This new feature comes right after it was announced that Skype to offer free group video calls.
If you use Microsoft's calendar service, Outlook should undoubtedly be your choice. Besides, it is also a good choice to receive the Gmail mail in push, since Apple Mail, both in its version for OS X and for iOS, is the only modern mail client that does not support notifications push from Gmail (thanks, Google). Outlook is also a great option for those of us who do not use Microsoft's calendar, although I am aware that there are better ones in the App Store.
