Overcast now supports dark mode

Overcast dark mode

The application was updated a few hours ago and now for all iOS 13 users the dark mode has arrived. Actually this is one of those improvements expected by many users of overcast, application to play podcasts. Now together with some improvements in the system and some bug fixes we find this novelty.

We are in the 2019.10 version that coincides with the year and month in which we are, curious fact. On the other hand, there is not much more than that, the arrival of dark mode for an application that many users use to play our favorite podcasts.

Dark overcast

About the implementation of this dark mode in the application, we can say little else that you do not see in the capture and it is very well implemented. Also from the settings we can choose between the different themes: Light, Dark, Black and then the dark modes with Dark and Black, these last two, one is total black and the other is more grayish. It is an essential requirement to be on iOS 13 or higher to be able to install this dark mode in Overcast.

And since we are talking about podcast remember that you can follow ours live regularly on Tuesday nights directly from our channel on YouTube or wait a little longer until the podcast audio is available through iTunes and your own podcast client such as Ovecast as usual. And for those who want to comment on something from social networks, they can also do so directly using the hashtag #podcastapple on Twitter or from our Telegram channel. Remember that Overcast is totally free (although you can contribute something) and you can download it from the link below.
