Today's security is being affected by many factors and therefore we have to increase the security of our passwords, our lock codes or why not, our phone numbers. Every day we enter dozens of pages in which we have registered with a different password and email (or at least in my case) and it is quite difficult to remember all these credentials all the time. Today, we are going to analyze an application called LoginBox which save our passwords safely and access with one touch the web where we have saved our credentials. At the end of the article we are going to raffle 4 promo codes for the PRO version of LoginBox. Do you want to keep your passwords safe and access your websites with one touch?
LoginBox features
- Automatic logins: We enter once, we make LoginBox save our credentials and when we want to enter again, a simple touch on the screen will be enough to automatically access the content of the web; without having to retype our username and password.
- Everything safe in LoginBox: And security? How do we trust LoginBox? Because LoginBox offers us an AWS Hardware accelerated encryption and Passcode that ensures complete data privacy.
- Design: Many websites are similar, but with this application, we will have the registered websites together with their thumbnail so that when we want to enter, we will simply have to click on the thumbnail of the desired website.
- Browser: LoginBox has an internal browser with which we will navigate safely. It has a full screen and a toolbar that can be moved, to place it in the place that least bothers us.
Registering our private data on a website in a secure way
The purpose of LoginBox is the safe storage of our credentials and instant and automatic access to the web; but for this we will have to have registered some access with passwords. We are going to register one in LoginBox.
- We press the + that is in the upper right part and we enter the integrated browser. We enter the web that we want LoginBox to save for us.
- Once inside the web, we access as we always do; inserting our username and password.
- In the upper left part of the browser we find a small red square. When we are inside the web, click and we can modify the thumbnail that we will see on the main LoginBox screen. Once the thumbnail is chosen, click on «Save».
All our websites on one page
When we have finished authenticating ourselves in all the webs that we need, we can access the main screen by closing the cross browser that is in the upper right part. We will access a place like the one in the image at the top.
On this main screen we have all the thumbnails of the websites that we have registered with LoginBox. For automatically access a websiteAll you have to do is click on the thumbnail. We will access automatically without entering our passwords again. Interesting, right?
Safety first: the pass code
Our iPad can be in the hands of many people and if we have LoginBox installed, we should be very careful since anyone can see the users and passwords that we have registered. How do we solve this problem? Adding a passcode, that is, every time we enter LoginBox, we will have to enter a code.
- We enter the adjustments, found in the upper left
- We press «pass code»And we introduce the code we want (it can be numeric or alphanumeric)
- And that's it!
Once we close the application and reopen it, it will ask us for the code we have entered.
If we need to register more websites and we do not have space with LoginBox, we can purchase LoginBox PRO (which also offers many other new features). Here below we raffle 4 codes of this paid version.
