What we are clear at this point is that the "fashion" for folding devices was somewhat altered by the problems that companies as large as Samsung or Huawei have had with their folding smartphones, but this could change when Apple launches to it and a recent rumor speaks of a foldable iPad Pro with 5G technology.
The truth is that having the iPad with 5G technology is something that we hope will happen soon since this technology will be the one to replace the 4G we currently have in Apple devices and that this coming year would begin to spread. What is not so clear to us is that Apple is betting on an iPad Pro Fold in the short term, something that would be interesting but that I personally see far away today.
It is not unreasonable to want a foldable iPad Pro
And it is to imagine an iPad larger than the current 12-inch or even similar in size but can be folded and reduced in half, it can be a very good way to improve the device. Really, many of us saw with good eyes the attempt of Samsung or Huawei in terms of the idea, the problem in that case is that it was too green and it was launched too quickly but they are still working on it and they surely have room for improvement.
In Apple they did not comment on this issue although the folding sounded a lot a few months ago, now the HS Markit media says that Apple could be thinking about their own folding iPad, something that at first gives us the feeling that it is far away although with the from Cupertino to the front you never know. Remember that when the Apple Watch was launched we already had many smartwatch models on the market and finally Apple's is being the best-selling worldwide. About a folding device in Apple we can think that it is something further away, but the rumors are still latent.
