The South Korean company has just revealed important data about the calculation of its profit for this first quarter of the year. The truth is that this data is not good at all considering that the firm warns that your profit for this Q1 will drop 60%.
We can say that in this case it is expected to reach 6,2 trillion won, which is approximately 4.885 million euros at the exchange rate during the first quarter of 2019. This figure makes it clear that not only Apple is having "problems" in the smartphone sales and adds a confirmation to what the South Korean already commented at the end of March when they said their benefits would not meet expectations.
The worst quarter since 2016 for Samsung
The drop of 60,3% over the same quarter of last year confirms that something is not right in a market saturated with devices of all types and prices, but also a revealing data is confirmed and that is the company will go through the worst quarter since the end of 2016.
