When we look at the image that Apple added to this year's WWDC we cannot help but think that they are indicating details of Augmented Reality (AR) and that is why we would like to see this title one day on the iPhone, just like we saw the arrival of the Pokémon.
Actually Street Fighter II, in AR is spectacular and I have to say that I would love to see this game on the iPhone, fully implemented for AR. In this case the developer Abhishek Singh, shows us what this game could be in reality.
The best in this regard is watch the video in which the developer shows us the game, so let's not beat around the bush either:
Enjoy the «Bonus Stage» that we can see in the video leaving a car for scrap in a parking lot with Ken throwing punches and kicks, it's priceless. Obviously it needs graphic and possibly technical tweaks, but it is a very good job without a doubt.
The game isn't perfect, but neither is AR
And it is that much remains to be improved in this field and above all it is necessary for developers and companies to invest more resources for this technology, which we think is spectacular. In addition to augmented reality we have virtual reality, the latter is well into the world of video games and little by little it advances with several improvements. In the case of AR, we have to say that it is being implemented in a more professional field, but we would like both CAPCOM itself and Apple to reach an agreement to bring this game into our hands.
