TaiG can now jailbreak iOS 8.1.2

taig

You already know that yesterday Apple released iOS 8.1.2, an update designed to fix some errors that, fortunately, it did not close the exploits used by the TaiG tool.

After several hours of work to make TaiG compatible with iOS 8.1.2, we already have the version 1.2 utility for Windows. There is still no corresponding version for OS X but if you have a Mac, you can always use a virtual machine to jailbreak your iPhone or iPad untethered.

If you are new to jailbreak and you are not sure how to use TaiG, do not forget to visit the tutorial in which we explain step by step what to do so that in a matter of a few minutes, you already have the untethered jailbreak running on your iPhone or iPad with any version of iOS 8 that has been released to date.

Remember TaiG could jailbreak the iOS 8.2 beta but since it is not the final version of the system, the tool has not been updated to add its official support. When the final version of iOS 8.2 TaiG arrives, it will be difficult to continue working and it seems that Apple still has a long time ahead to close the exploits and security flaws that they use to jailbreak their system.

Even so, we will be attentive to see how this issue evolves and who knows, maybe in the not too distant future we will see a tool resulting from thejoint collaboration between TaiG and Pangu.

I have doubts about how to do the update since it is the first time that I had the jailbreak.

What do I have to update via Ota to 8.1.2 and when it happens, cydia disappears, etc.? After downloading the new taig file to the pc and doing the process?

Keep the tweaks you have etc?

I advise you to leave it like that, if you are already well.
If you have JB, it is not supposed to show the OTA update, if you do it like this you can leave it in an "infinite block loop" that is, it does not go beyond the block.
If you want restore from itunes. It is the way to remove it only and without problems.

So if we are on IOs8.1 it is not worth updating now what can be jailbroken?

I will not do it then, it works perfectly with 8.1.1 and the improvements are lowercase if they exist in 8.1.2 so I will stay as I am.

If I have 8.1 already with jailbreak, and I want to update to this version, what is the most suitable way? I would not want to restore and reinstall everything ...

As far as I know, when you have the jailbreak done and you want to update to the next version of the OS, you only have to restore to that version and do the jailbreak again.

In an iPad 2 and iPhone 4s how is this update of ios 8.1.2 going, the fluidity is fixed and wifi compared to ios 8.1? Is it advisable to update to iOS 8.1.2?

Why am I closing my downloaded apps from cydia?

If you are talking specifically about apps, it must be because you don't have appsync installed

Well, I don't know if it will happen to someone else but, the jailbreak is tethered at least on my device, every time I turn off the iPhone 6, when I turn it on, neither cydia nor any application works up to 5 times I have had to restore.

I have taig 8.1.1 and right now it won't let me install more tweaks, but nevertheless the ones I had installed are luxurious, what would you do, update or stay that way for now?

hello I have a problem with my iphone 5 with ios 8.1.2 the wi-fi remains gray it does not turn on and the bluetooth is like trying to turn on and nothing, this happened to me two days ago I do not know what to do and I restored the network and nothing l, or refresh and nothing. On the Internet you see solutions that if you put a hair sexer, leave it in the freezer for 10 minutes, but I don't want it to go through those extremes, some help someone who can tell me what to do thanks
