Most analysts and the Cupertino company itself always talk about the good sales figures of what is today the smartwatch to beat, the Apple Watch. And it is that a recent study carried out by Strategy Analytics on the market for these devices makes the Apple Watch a leader in its category with a growth of more than 50% over the same period last year.
Logically these figures are not official but they can be quite close to the real ones on the current smartwach market. So we can almost confirm that in this Q3 of 2019 Apple achieves a brutal growth in sales and distances itself much more from those that were previously competitors, nowadays it gives the feeling that it has no rival ...
6.8 million units during this Q3
The figure of 6.8 million units shipped during the third quarter of the current year undoubtedly mark a path of growth thanks to the arrival in part of the Apple Watch Series 5 and the consequent drop in price of the Apple Watch Series 3 and Series 4 models. The latter are no longer officially sold at Apple, but we are sure that telephone companies and other large businesses are doing the August taking stock.
Everything adds up to achieve this growth that exceeds the total growth of general sales of the rest of similar devices. Yes, Apple would surpass the entire wearables market with its Apple Watch existing that reaches 42% of the total. We have to insist that these are not real data offered by Apple itself but they would be figures very close to those obtained by the Cupertino company with its Apple Watch. An Apple Watch that continues to improve with each of the generations that are launched and that thanks to the good sales figures of the iPhone manage to continue being a perfect complement for users, although it is true that it increasingly enjoys greater independence from the smartphone from Apple.
